About Lauren Wu

Lauren Wu, Esq., CIPP/US, is a keynote speaker, attorney, and former healthcare privacy executive who helps organizations rethink leadership, accessibility, and workplace design in an era of rapid change.

For more than a decade, Lauren held senior leadership roles in healthcare and life sciences organizations, including Evidation Health, Roche Molecular Solutions, and Genomic Health (now Exact Sciences). Her work focused on privacy, regulation, ethics, and the often-unseen systems that shape how organizations operate and who bears the cost of success.

Following a significant health event that required her to step away from her executive career, Lauren gained a new perspective on work, leadership, and human capacity. Today, she challenges leaders to move beyond endurance-based models of success and create systems that allow people to contribute, belong, and thrive.

Lauren is a writer and speaker on leadership, ethics, accessibility, and technology. She serves on the board of the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project (S.T.O.P.), has taught at Northwestern University School of Law, and is the author of forthcoming children's books on privacy and digital literacy.
